In 2011, Atlas and its partners will host more than a dozen Freedom Schools in a dozen countries around the world from Brazil to China.
During these gatherings students and think tank leaders learn about, discuss, and debate key topics such as the morality of capitalism and essay contestants present their winning ideas.
A few highlights from August:
On August 9 – 15, AfricanLiberty.org organized the annual SYPALA (Students and Young Professionals African Liberty Academy) conference at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria with Atlas’s Tom Palmer, among others, presenting to 87 participants.
On August 15 – 18, Atlas sponsored the Free Market and Morality Summer School in Beijing, China with 55 attendees led by eight distinguished faculty including Professor Mao Shoulong of People’s University.
Most recently, InLiberty.ru and its partners convened a week-long conference from August 27 – September 2 on the topic “Is Capitalism Unjust?” Those schools help Atlas to identify the next generation of leaders and scholars committed to the ideals of a free society. Congratulations to all the essay winners and Freedom School graduates |
